摘要: The header height is a crucial operating parameter for grain combine harvesters. Its accurate and stable control is difficult due to the topography of ridges, ditches, and slopes. This study proposes a header profiling intelligent control algorithm based on multi -sensor data fusion and model predictive control (MSD-MPC), allowing to perform highly accurate, stable, and reliable header height control. The existing header height control device has a mechanical structure, and the header is lifted and dropped by single -acting cylinders. Consequently, this study also designs a header profiling hydraulic control system. The system performs accurate and stable control of a single -acting hydraulic cylinder by adopting a proportional solenoid valve. The header height profiling control system for combined harvester (HPS) software for the header profiling is developed using Python 3.6. It performs data acquisition, intelligent calculation of header height and its profiling control volume, as well as human-computer interaction. Several field experiments are conducted with different operating speeds and header profiling heights of grain combine harvesters. The obtained results show that the mean value of the coefficients of variation (C.V.) is 3.5 % at operating speeds of 2, 3, 4, and 5 km/h. The mean value of the header profiling control accuracies (tau) is 91.5 %, and the number of times the header touched the ground (SSR) is 0. At header profiling heights of 10, 15, 20, and 25 cm, the mean value of the C.V. is 4.3 %, that of tau is 91.25 %, and the SSR is also 0. The developed HPS has high accuracy and stability, which can provide a reference for the header profiling control technology of grain combine harvester.
