摘要: A chromium oxide-nitrogen-doped carbon nanocomposite (Cr2O3-NC) possessing hierarchical porous structures has been simply synthesized with a heterocyclic ligand, namely phenanthroline, as both the carbon and nitrogen source. In the Cr2O3-NC composite, Cr2O3 nanoparticles are in situ generated and are firmly anchored onto the Ndoped carbon sheets which are derived from the phenanthroline. This composite has several structural merits inclusive of an enlarged surface area, abundant active centers, and improved electrical conductivity. When employed as a low-cost catalyst for electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR), Cr2O3-NC demonstrates significantly enhanced and more stable catalytic activity for the nitrogen reduction reaction compared with the bare Cr2O3. It can achieve a substantial ammonia formation rate of 40.32 mu g mg- cat1 h-1 at a potential of -0.2 V vs. RHE, and a high Faradic efficiency of 12.05 %. Moreover, when employed as an anode material for a lithium-ion battery (LIB), Cr2O3-NC also exhibits a remarkably enhanced electrochemical Li-storage property. It is able to exhibit a large reversible Li-storage capacity of 919.2 mAh g- 1 at 100 mA g- 1 in the end of 180 cycles, desirable rate performance of 408.9 mAh g- 1 at 1000 mA g- 1 after 300 cycles and stable cyclability.
