Effect of different fertilization strategies on phenotypic traits, yield and fiber quality of kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.)

摘要: In this study, the field trial carried out in 2023, the kenaf variety "H368" was selected as the plant material, and eight groups of treatments (CK1, CK2, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6). The results showed that the H5 treatment of kenaf phenotypic characteristics of the best, and the highest yield, while the application of base fertilizer or topdressing does not necessarily increase the yield of kenaf. In the treatment of H4 growth performance is better, with the finest stem fineness and the highest strength, while the H1 treatment of kenaf fiber quality is optimal. Taking all factors into consideration if high yield is pursued, it is recommended to use compound fertilizer (N-P-K = 15-15-15) as base fertilizer, and at the same time in the kenaf plant height of about 30 cm at the time of application of 9 kg (150 g) of nitrogen fertilizers, plant height of about 150 cm at the time of application of 21 kg (351 g) of nitrogen fertilizers, nitrogen fertilizers for the ordinary urea (CO (NH2)2 containing N about 46.65%. If pursuing fiber quality, it is recommended to use compound fertilizer as the base fertilizer during planting and 3 kg (50 g) of nitrogen fertilizer should be applied when the kenaf plant height is about 30 cm, and 7 kg (117 g) of nitrogen fertilizer should be applied when the plant height is about 150 cm.
