Simultaneous determination of 19 phenolic compounds in oilseeds using magnetic solid phase extraction and LC-MS/MS

摘要: Simultaneous determination of 19 phenolic compounds in oilseeds was performed using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) combined with magnetic solid phase extraction (M-SPE). Magnetic graphene (Fe3O4-r-GO) was synthesized via a one-step hydrothermal method. The optimum extraction conditions were 4 mg Fe3O4/r-GO, 2 mL of 5% methanol-water as the dispersing solvent, and 6 mL of 0.1% formic acid-methanol as the elution solvent. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.02-90.00 mu g/kg and 0.06-300.00 mu g/kg respectively, and the recoveries of polyphenols in the oilseeds ranged from 70.5% to 116.6%; both the inter-day and intra-day precisions were less than 10.8%. This method is efficient, sensitive, and stable, therefore it can simultaneously determine these 19 phenolic compounds in oilseeds.
