EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT NITROGEN APPLICATION RATES ON EGGPLANT YIELD AND WATER USE EFFICIENCY UNDER CONTINUOUS NEGATIVE PRESSURE IRRIGATION

摘要: In order to clarify the effects of different nitrogen application rates on eggplant yield and water use efficiency under continuous negative pressure water supply, this paper adopts eggplant variety in Heiyouliang as the test material, which uses the pot experiments, and continuous negative pressure water supply devices. This paper also sets in water supply below -3kPa negative pressure, 3 treatments with different nitrogen application levels (N0: 0g/pot, N1: 10.76g/pot, N2: 16.14g/pot) and artificial watering (CK). This article studied the effects of different nitrogen application rates on eggplant yield and water use efficiency under negative pressure water supply. The results show as follows: when the water supply pressure is controlled at -3KPa, the water consumption of eggplant increases with the growth of nitrogen fertilizer. The N2 treatment had the largest water consumption during the whole growth period, which was 65.68 kg/plant. The eggplant yield and water use efficiency increased first and then decreased with the growth of nitrogen fertilizer. The eggplant yield and water use efficiency of N1 treatment were the highest, which were 39.13g/plant and 0.66g/kg, respectively. Therefore, appropriately the reduction of the nitrogen fertilizer amount can maximize the eggplant yield, while also significantly improve the water use efficiency.
