摘要: MCrAlY-based coatings are widely applied in metallurgy and aerospace engineering. In the present work, a CoCrAlTaY-Al2O3 spraying powder was prepared by spray granulation and vacuum sintering. Subsequently, (1-x) CoCrAlTaY-xAl(2)O(3) (x = 0, 10, 20, 30%, wt.%) cermet coatings were fabricated by atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) technology, and the effects of Al2O3 doping concentrations on the microstructure, phase composition, mechanical properties, and wear behavior of the cermet coatings were investigated. The results showed that most of the CoCrAlTaY-Al2O3 spraying powder particles were spherical with uniform composition and diameters ranging from 15 to 45 mu m. The CoCrAlTaY-Al2O3 coating was relatively dense and contained few pores. Al2O3 doping had no significant effect on the phase composition of the coating that was mainly composed of Al5Co2, Cr, alpha-Al2O3, theta-Al2O3 and gamma-Al2O3. As the content of Al2O3 increased, the Vickers hardness and porosity of the cermet coating gradually increased. The bonding strength of CoCrAlTaY coating decreased after adding Al2O3, and the coating with 30% doping Al2O3 had a maximum hardness of 758.3 HV0.3 and a relatively high bonding strength of 48.7 MPa. The wear mechanism of the CoCrAlTaY-Al2O3 coating was mainly abrasive wear at room temperature, and the doping of Al2O3 reduced the amount of adhesive wear. Aa the Al2O3 doping content increased, the wear volume and wear rate of the grinding ball gradually increased, implying that the wear performance of the CoCrAlTaY-Al2O3 coating was significantly improved after adding Al2O3.
