Mining the potential quality marker and predicting the total flavonoid content of Paris polyphylla var. Yunnanensis based on information fusion

摘要: In order to rationally develop, utilize and protect Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis (PPY), it is important to explore more quality evaluation criteria. The quality marker (total flavonoids) was screened according to the quality marker principle combined with network pharmacology and exploited for its medicinal potential. The total flavonoid content (TFC) of the samples from different origins of PPY showed significant differences according to the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) statistics, and the highest content was found in Dianzhong (DZ). Based on the fusion of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) and Fourier transform mid-infrared spectroscopy (FT-MIR) data, the chemical information of PPY was comprehensively analysed, and the model optimization was successfully achieved through the data pre-processing and feature extraction process. Partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) was used to identify the production areas with the highest TFC, and the accuracy of the model reached 100%, and the relative percentage deviation (RPD) of the model for predicting the TFC using partial least squares regression (PLSR) reached 2.71. The results demonstrated that using quality marker (total flavonoids) as the key point not only exploited the potential medicinal value of PPY, but also provided a novel approach for evaluating the quality of PPY.
