摘要: In plants, the MYB family transcription factor has selectively expanded, particularly through the large family of R2R3-MYB. MYB proteins are key factors in regulatory networks controlling development, metabolism and responses to biotic and abiotic stresses. AtMYB123/TT2 encodes a R2R3 type MYB transcription factor, and plays a key role in regulating flavonoid late biosynthetic genes in Arabidopsis. Here, we firstly identified a TT2/ AtMYB123 homologous protein FtMYB123L through bioinformatics analysis from the floral transcriptome data from Fagopyrum tataricum. We speculate that FtMYB123L also involves the regulation of flavonoid biosynthesis in F. tataricum.
