摘要： Leaf and stem lesions with symptoms of grey mould were observed on greenhouse-grown fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) plants in Beijing, China during 2013-2014. A fungus was isolated from lesions on leaves and stems. The pathogenicity of the isolated fungus was confirmed from inoculation experiments. On the basis of morphological features and ITS-5.8S rDNA, G3PDH, hsp60 and RPB2 sequences, the pathogen was identi?ed as Botrytis cinerea Pers. This is the first report of grey mould caused by B. cinerea on fennel in China.
