摘要: Some rhizosphere microbes, such as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), can alleviate plant drought stress and improve water use efficiency and productivity under drought conditions. The aims of this study are: 1) isolation and characterization of PGPRs from the rhizosphere of Arabidopsis plants that could improve drought tolerance of Arabidopsis and maize; 2) studying the potential mechanisms of improved plant drought tolerance by the isolated bacteria.
