Study on Food Safety Traceability System Based on Multisided Platforms Theory

摘要: To deal with food safety issues, food safety traceability system as a tool for food safety information disclosure, the whole process of food chain information link to monitor, is considered to achieve food from farm to table full of quality and safety of a feasible plan. However, traceability system is only a record of information and query system; there is no interaction between consumers, producers and regulators. In this paper, we introduce the multisided platform theory (MSPs), so that all participants in the traceability system have a direct interaction, which can produce the cross network effect, reduce the search cost and trust crisis caused by the asymmetric information. At the same time, it also introduces the participation of the food safety traceability system based on the MSPs, the platform design principle and the structure and function of the platform.
