Construction of suppression subtractive hybridization library from Cirsium setosum (Willd.) MB under glyphosate stress

摘要： The mRNA isolated from Cirsium setosum (Willd.) MB before treatment with glyphosate was used as a "driver", and the mRNAs isolated from C. setosum (Willd.) MB after treatment with glyphosate at different times were used as "testers". One suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) library of C. setosum (Willd.) MB under glyphosate stress was constructed in the present study. The positive cDNA inserts was screened by nested PCR, and then picked for sequencing. Using BLAST search, these ESTs suggested that they might be involved in stress response or regulation. The complete sequences and detailed function of these ESTs need to be further studied.
