Realization of a wireless communication & web based image telemonitoring system

摘要: In order to rapidly and visually observe agricultural field scene, for example, crop growth and development and animal activities, and so forth, a systematic solution of monitoring system was designed for image acquisition based on the technology combination of GPRS mobile communication and WEB. In the field site, the hardware of the monitoring system is composed of a RTU(Remote Terminal Unit) module and a camera with serial interface. Image acquired from the agricultural site could be transmitted to the central database server and saved by using TCP/IP programming technology. The results show that this system works stably with convenient integration, and it proves an important way to promote agricultural monitoring level for visualized monitoring and management.
