摘要: China reserves the most soybean germplasm in the world because of extensively exchanging germplasm in the national wide and among the countries of the world. The majority of these soybean germplasm originated in China and only 0.4% of them were introduced from the other countries. All of the accessions have been evaluated for the morphological traits and listed in the Catalog. Most of the accessions are analyzed for the seed protein contents and oil contents, and about 35% or less of the total accessions were evaluated for the other quality traits and resistances. The genetic diversities were estimated at both morphological traits for all Chinese accessions and molecular level for primary core collection. The results were used to determine the best strategy of sampling and evaluating for establishment of the Chinese soybean core collection. The core collection consists of 384 wild soybeans and 1055 cultivated soybean, taking 5% of the total accessions and representing over 85% genetic diversity of the whole collection. It will play a very important role in characterization and utilization of Chinese soybean germplasm.
