摘要: An experiment was conducted for evaluating immunoprotectivity of Marek's Disease virus (MDV) DNA vaccine, a recombinant pUC19 plasmid with MDV SE gene. Chickens in two groups were intramuscularly injected with this recombinant plasmid DNA at age of 1 day and 8 days respectively. Doses were 100 ug (groupB) and 250ug (group A) plasmid DNA per bird each injection. One week after boosting, the birds were challenged with virulent MDV strain by intra-abdominal injection. As a result, morbidities of two vaccination groups were 15.38 % and 23.08 % respectively, while the chickens of control group bearing MD were 84.62 %. The primary result showed that the DNA vaccine cam effectively protect chickens against virulent MDV and this novel vaccine strategy is very promising in development of new generation of MDV vaccine.
