Changes of Fish Diversity and Community Structure in Daning River Before and After Impoundment

摘要: In order to obtain data on the changes of fish diversity and community structure in Daning River before and after impoundment, present and past data were compared with the methods of taxonomic distinctness and feeding guild. Results showed that the fish fauna composition pattern is similar between the present survey and before construction of the dam, with the order Cypriniformes is predominant, followed in prevalence by the order Siluriformes and Perciformes, and the Daning River still maintain high fish biocliversity. However, the structure and composition of fish feeding guild has also change obviously, two feeding types decreased and five feeding types increased, all which were probably the result of environmental changes after impoundment.
