A GIS-based management system for farm scientific fertilization

摘要: A GIS-based management system for farm scientific fertilization was developed to investigate the possibility of scientific fertilization with spatially variable field operations. The basic method used in design and implementation of the system is in detail discussed. The system was equipped with a commercial GIS to simulate true general process of spatial fertilization management and to provide very satisfactory recommendations of fertilization for its users. An entity relationship model for building basic framework of the system was used to complete analysis and design of the system. The finally designed system meets the requirements of farmers and the system implementation.
