Use of wood vinegars in hydroponic lettuce production

摘要: This study was conducted to determine the effects of adding wood vinegars in nutrient solution on the growth, photosynthesis and mineral element absorption of hydroponic lettuce. The concentration of wood vinegars added were 0.25, 0.5, 1ml/L and 1/2 unit Enshi-shoho adding nitric acid were represented as CK. As the result, the growth, water and mineral element absorption, and photosynthesis of hydroponic lettuce were greatly inhibited when plants grew in nutrient solution with 1ml/L wood vinegars. However, the plants in solution with 0.25 1ml/L wood vinegars showed no significant differences with those in CK. Therefore, the wood vinegars with optimum concentration could be used to adjust the pH of nutrient solution.
