摘要: In this paper, the genus Cryptosphaeria (Diatrypaceae, Xylariales) is reported for the first time in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province of Northeast China. A previously undescribed species, Cryptosphaeria jinzhouensis, is described and illustrated as a new species, based on a combination of morphological characteristics and molecular evidences. Cryptosphaeria jinzhouensis is characterized by poorly developed and aggregated stromata, subglobose to obosoid perithecia with shot neck, asulcate and slightly prominent ostioles, light yellow to translucent ascospores slightly curved. Sequences of ITS, LSU, RPB2, and TUB2 gene regions of the studied samples were generated, and phylogenetic analyses were perfomed with maximum likelihood and Bayesian inference methods. The phylogenetic analysis in Diatrypaceae that Cryptosphaeria jinzhouensis distributed in the genus Cryptosphaeria, and distributed in the clade Cry1. The differences between the new species and closely related taxa are discussed.
