摘要: To improve the automation level of the round baler, an automatic net feeding control system with the function of remote monitoring was developed and tested both in the laboratory and the field. The system can automatically trigger the electromagnetic clutch to wrap the net based on the sensors. In order to avoid false alarms caused by tailgate vibration at the end of the bale formation, a time filter was developed in this system. A sensor-based logic was designed to feed the net correctly and count the bales accurately. The baling operation parameters were sent to the remote monitoring terminal by RS232 from the controller. The terminal acts as a hub to forward the work trajectory, bale number, and work area to the server, and receive commands from the server to enable or disable the control system. More than 3000 bales of corn straw baling experiments were carried out in the field. The experiments show that the baling procedure is valid and continuous baling is stable. The average feed net success rate is 98.90%, and the average bale counting accuracy rate is 98.89%. The average time per bale in the manual mode is 77.93 s, and in the automatic net feeding mode is 66.31 s. Compared with manual net feeding, the working efficiency of automatic feeding net is increased by 14.91%. The remote monitoring function is also verified. The entire control system was proven to be precise and reliable.
