摘要: Plant parasitic nematodes are a major group of pests of fruit crops which, in most cases, attack the root systems of plants. Nematode parasitism may result in secondary infection by soil-borne fungal pathogens (Sikora & Carter, 1987) or the transmission of plant viruses (Brown et al., 1995). Damage caused by plant parasitic nematodes and their interactions with other microorganisms in the rhizosphere of fruit crops may range from mild to severe (Wang, 1994). Fruit crops have been cultivated in China for many years; some that are indigenous have been cultivated for over 4000 years (Shen, 1998). However, nematode problems on fruit crops have not been well investigated until recent years when several surveys of plant parasitic nematodes associated with fruit crops were done provincially or regionally in China. The first comprehensive survey was the national root-knot nematode project that identified species and races of this pest on a broad range of agricultural crops including many fruit trees in southern provinces (Yang et al., 1988, 1990; Feng et al., 1989; Yu etal., 1990; Hu etal., 1991; Zhu etal., 1991, 1992; Yin et al., 1994). Later, a team of scientists surveyed the occurrence of plant parasitic nematodes on citrus, peach, apple, grapevine and pear in Sichun Province (Li, 1987; He et al., 1995; Deng et al., 1997; Lan et al., 1997; Xie et al., 1997a, b). Nematologists in Fujian Province investigated plant parasitic nematodes, particularly root-knot nematodes, associated with citrus and banana crops (Zhang & Weng, 1991; Zhang, 1993). Preliminary surveys of nematodes on major fruit crops also were done in Shanxi Province (Wang & Chen, 1989; Wang, 1993) and Guangdong Province (Li et al., 1987; Li, 1991; Li & Feng, 1995).
