摘要: Pollen shape, size, colpate character and exine sculpture of loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) cultivars ('Dafang', 'Changhong No.3% 'Zaohuang', 'Taicheng No.4% 'Moriowase' and 'Jiefangzhong') were studied to the microscope and the data analyzed bymeans of Scanning Probe Microscopic Image Processing software that constructed 3-D image. The result showed that the pollen from all cultivars were prolate and 3-colpate, but differed in size and surface shape. The average axial diameter ranged between 19.94 and 30.09 mu m. The surface sculptures could be categorized into three groups: striate, perforate striate and striate cavernula.
