摘要: Pepper seed quality directly affects the growth of pepper seedling and the taste of pepper fruit. Due to the appearances of different varieties of pepper seeds are similar, so it's easy to confuse them together, and further to influence pepper cultivation and production. This study adopted spectral technique to identify pepper seed varieties, and chose three varieties of pepper seeds named "Zhuo Jiao NO. 3", "Zhuo Jiao NO. 4" and "Zhuo Jiao NO. 5" as research objects. Spectral data was collected and pretreated with de-trend (DT), multiple scattering correction (MSC), first derivative (FD) and savitzky-golay (SG) smoothing methods. This research employed principal component analysis (PCA) method to reduce the dimension of spectral data and extract principal components, and linear discriminant analysis (LDA) method was introduced to identify varieties of pepper seeds. Research results showed that using visible/near infrared spectral technique combined with chemometrics methods is feasible for detection of pepper seed varieties.
