Coverage strategy in wireless sensor networks based on node scheduling

摘要: Energy limited becomes a key and hot point problem of wireless sensor networks. This paper proposes a coverage strategy in wireless sensor networks, based on node scheduling. The strategy uses the relationship between energy consumption and coverage rate, combines with the Voronoi, which selected some redundant nodes and dispatched it. When the redundant nodes were in a sleeping state, the network energy consumption was reduced. Simulation results show that the strategy realize energy distributed evenly, effectively reduce the number of the nodes and network energy consumption, prolong the network lifetime.
