摘要: A novel portable electronic nose odor analyzer was developed for rapid detection of beef freshness. The instrument consists of a heating unit, a sampling unit, a signal processing unit, a control circuit and a sensor array composed of 8 sensors. The electronic nose system introduces a heating unit to heat the sensor and the gas through the sampling system to increase the sensitivity of the gas sensitive material in the sensor and to increase the adsorption capacity of the gas. The experiment was conducted to test the volatile organic compound gas produced in the process of deterioration of beef. The PCA was used to analyze the data collected by the system, and the SVM was used to identify three kinds of meat. The result showed that the instrument qan detect the mixture of volatile beef quickly, and the accuracy of recognition is high. Finally, some interesting remarks concerning the existing problems and promising prospective of electronic nose in food analysis are also mentioned.
