摘要： Different treatments were applied to the seeds of Panicum mazimum CV Reyan no..8, which had been stored for different durations of time. The results showed that to the seed stored for 5 months or less, the germination rate varied with the treatment The seed soaked in 10% solution of potassium nitrate for 6 hours germinated best. As to the seed stored for 7 months or more, changed treatments did not significantly affect the rate of germination. It was proved that the seed of Panicum mazimum CV Reyan no 8 would be relieved from dormancy at normal temperature for 7 months, when the seed germinated at a high rate, and grew at a fast speed. It was applicable to production.
