Population-specific quantitative trait loci mapping for functional stay-green trait in rice (Oryza sativa L.)

摘要: Le phenotype << stay-green >> permet aux feuilles de demeurer vertes et de prolonger leur capacite photosynthetique au cours de la periode de remplissage des grains. Les auteurs ont developpe deux populations de lignees recombinantes fixees a partir d'un croisement entre deux lignees de la meme sous-espece, Oryza sativa L. subsp. japonica 'Suweon490' (japonica) O. sativa subsp. japonica 'SNU-SG1' (japonica) et d'un croisement entre lignees de deux sous-especes, O. sativa subsp. indica 'Andabyeo' (indica) O. sativa subsp. japonica 'SNU-SG1' (japonica). La lignee parentale commune, 'SNU-SG1', etait la source du phenotype << stay-green >>. La cartographie QTL a l'aide de marqueurs microsatellites a permis d'identifier six QTL associes a deux caracteres du phenotype << stay-green >> au sein des deux populations. Les deux caracteres etaient la valeur SPAD cumulative de la feuille etendard (CSFL) et la valeur SPAD cumulative totale pour les quatre feuilles superieures (TCS). Quatre QTL, tcs4, csfl6, csfl9 (ou tcs9) et csfl12, situes respectivement sur les chromosomes 4, 6, 9 et 12, ont ete detectes chez les deux populations. Les deux derniers QTL, csfl2 (ou tcs2) et tcs5, sur les chromosomes 2 et 5 respectivement, se sont averes specifiques d'une population. De plus, le phenotype << stay-green >> contribue par 'SNU-SG1' a montre une correlation positive avec le rendement en grains. Deux QTL pour le rendement, yld6 et yld9 situes respectivement sur les chromosomes 6 et 9, ont ete identifies chez les deux populations et coincidaient avec les QTL csfl6 et tcs9. Ainsi, les regions chromosomiques identifiees constituent des cibles interessantes pour la selection assistee de marqueurs pour ameliorer le rendement chez le riz.
