摘要: In order to study the adhesion characteristics of fouling organisms on different materials of mesh, from March to May 2022 (spring) and June to August 2022 (summer), on-site hanging experiments of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene mesh and copper alloy mesh were carried out in the waters of Nanri Island, Putian city, Fujian province. The experimental results showed that the attachment of the two types of mesh coats fouled organisms showed some seasonal differences, and the compactness, number of species, number of dominant species, wet mass, and density of the two types of mesh coats fouling organisms were lower in spring than in summer. The mean values of compactness, number of species, number of dominant species, wet weight, and density of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene mesh were higher than those of copper alloy net coats. Changes in seawater temperature were the main reason for the seasonal differences in fouling organisms, and the copper alloy mesh was more effective than the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene mesh in preventing fouling organisms from adhering.
