Co-assemblies of porphyrin tubular cage/polylysine based 1D nanoribbons with controllable handedness for enantioselective detection of theanine and mechanism revealing

摘要: 1D nanoribbons with supramolecular controllable handedness are constructed by the co-assemblies of porphyrin tubular cage (PTC) with polylysine (PL) upon multiple intermolecular forces at the air/water interface. Depending on the outstanding stimuli-responsive performance of aggregating hierarchical nanoribbons, the enantiomers of theanine are clearly discriminated through the relative fluorescence intensity of co-assembling system. It is revealed that the enantioselective mechanism originate from the quite disparate intermolecular interactions between co-assemblies and theanine isomers induced selective adsorption by means of experimental characterization combined with molecular simulations. This study not only helps to further understand the multiple interaction within co-assembling system, but also provides a novel strategy for enantioselective sensing platform with controllable handedness.
