Experimental Research on Methane Production with Sugarcane Leaves Pretreated with Biological Agents

摘要: This study adopted Rylatt microbial catalytic and Gymboree methane catalytic decomposing agents in the pretreatment of sugarcane leaves to examine their influences on the dry anaerobic fermentation of sugarcane leaves. Test results show that these two biological agents can facilitate the methane fermentation of sugarcane leaves under the following conditions: the additive amount of the Rylatt microbial catalytic decomposing agent was 0.0125% of the weight of sugarcane leaves, the maximum total yield of biogas was 7682.75 L, the methane content was 60.3%, the volumetric gas production rate was 4.37 m(3)/m(3).d, and the relative methane production performed best. Scanning electron microscopy results show that the apparent morphological structure of sugarcane leaves pretreated with biological agents was only mostly destroyed after anaerobic fermentation and still had the potential for further biodegradation.
