摘要: We investigated the influence of alginate oligosaccharides (AOS) on the growth performance and health of the hybrid grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus female x Epinephelus lanceolatu male). Five trial diets with varying AOS inclusion (0.00 %, 0.05 %, 0.10 %, 0.15 %, and 0.20 %) were fed to grouper larvae (body weight 60.39 +/- 0.53 g) for 56 days. Although AOS promoted grouper growth, this effect was not statistically significant. Compared with the control group, the activities of alkaline phosphatase, glutathione, and superoxide dismutase increased significantly in the 0.05 and 0.10 % groups. The relative expression of proinflammatory cytokines in the 0.05 and 0.10 % groups was significantly lower, whereas the relative expression of anti-inflammatory cytokines was significantly higher than those of the control. Notably, the inclusion of 0.10 % AOS enhanced the diversity of the gut microbial community of the hybrid grouper. The proportion of Rhodococcus was increased, which was attributed to a rise in the relative abundance of Actinobacteria. Furthermore, the abundance of potentially pathogenic bacteria such as Vibrio and Photobacterium were effectively inhibited, as evidenced by a decrease in the relative abundance of Proteobacteria. In contrast, 0.20 % AOS enhanced the risk of intestinal inflammation by decreasing the relative abundance of Actinobacteria and increasing the proportion of Photobacterium.
