Classification of the urbanization types in the Yangtze River Delta

摘要: The Yangtze River Delta was selected as a case study to evaluate urban sustainability based on the index system, which was composited of economic development, social development, resources and environmental press. Factor analysis was applied to extract principal component. Then based on the factor scores of the principal components extracted from three aspects, four urbanization types are obtained.
