摘要: The 51 isolates, the causing agents of maize eyespot, were identified asKabatiella zeaewith morphological and molecular methods. The structure of theMATlocus inK. zeaeJLMHK-9 strain containsMAT1-1andMAT1-2genes which are transcribed in opposite directions, DNA lyase gene (APN2) which is adjacent to the 3 ' flanking region ofMAT1-2-1gene and a pleckstrin homology domain (PH) which is adjacent to the 3 ' flanking region ofMAT1-1-1gene. The specific primers are used to identify the mating types ofK. zeaeisolates collected from six provinces in China, and our findings speculate thatK. zeaeis a homothallic species.
