摘要： To distinguish new broccoli cultivar 'HAI LV' from existing varieties and ensure the quality of commercial seeds, genetic purity assessment of 300 individuals of 'HAI LV' were made using Simple Sequence Repeat (SSR) markers and a grow-out test (GOT). The DNA samples of female and male parents were analysed with 150 pairs of SSR primers and eight pairs presented polymorphism. Two pairs of primers, which produced suitable male- and female-specific markers after PCR, were chosen for purity testing of the F-1-hybrid seeds. Then, the result of purity testing from SSR markers was compared with the GOT. The studies demonstrated that SSR markers and GOT could both identify sibs. The use of SSR markers is more convenient and faster than GOT, but the identified SSR markers could not differentiate other loci mutants or plants with epigenetic changes from the hybrids.
