摘要: Stock enhancement plays a crucial role in fishery management and has been proven successful in rebuilding depleted fishery resources. However, as an important species for stock enhancement in China, the genetic effects of the release process on blackhead seabream remain poorly known. Here, we report the whole-genome resequencing of 144 blackhead seabream individuals and explored population genetic effects. Our results indicated that the fixation index among the seven populations was low (Fst, 0.0006067-0.01491), and they showed similar decay distance and nucleotide diversity. Paternity analyses revealed that 2 out of the 20 fish recaptured were closely related to the released populations, suggesting that they may be part of the released individuals. However, the analyses revealed that 50 % of the breeders are related. Therefore, it highlights the importance of using numerous native specimens as breeders in management and the necessity to enhance genetic management of stock enhancement.
