摘要： A new species, namely Methocha transcarinata sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Guangdong and Hainan, China. Additionally, M. cariniventris Narita & Mita, 2018 and M. kandyensis Krombein, 1982 are newly recorded from China. A key to all the known species of the genus from China is updated.
