摘要: Soybeans originated in China; therefore, their genetic germplasms, especially of wild soybeans, are abundant in China. In recent years, more than 5000 accessions of wild soybeans which account for about 90% of the world collections of wild soybeans, have been collected. These materials not only provide new sources of genes, but also can be used as the basic materials in the biological study of soybeans. A previous study([1]) has shown that there are numerous ecological types, and the genetic diversity is rich in Chinese wild soybean germplasms. A comparison study between wild and cultivated soybeans not only provides basic information for the usage of wild soybeans in soybean breeding, but also for a better understanding of soybean origination and evolution. The RAPD assay has been widely used since it was developed by Williams (1990)([2]) and Welsh (1991)([3]), because it has the advantages of being simple, fast, extremely sensitive and not affected by plant development or growth environment. The objective of this study is to explore the possibility of using the RAPD assay in identifying soybean genotype and determining the origination and evolution of soybean.
