摘要: In continuation of our program aimed at the discovery and development of efficient insecticidal agents, a series of quinoline-based hydrazone derivatives were synthesized and evaluated as insecticidal agents against three-day-old larvae of Spodoptera litura (Noctuidae: Lepidoptera), a polyphagous insect pest of many important crops, in vivo at 1 mg mL(-1). In particular, compounds 3c, 3e, 4g, 4h, and 6f showed potent insecticidal activity with 7 day mortality rates greater than 93%, and were comparable to that of the positive control toosendanin.
