摘要: Vibrio parahaemolyticus is recognized as a chief cause of foodborne disease associated with seafood consumption, and its infections are becoming a severe public healthy problem in China recent years. In order to provide a better understanding of Vibrio parahaemolyticus causing foodborne disease and reduce the risk of seafood consumption safety, this article reviews the biological characteristics and virulence factors of Vibrio parahaemolyticus, and discusses prevalence in food and methods for detection of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in seafood.
