摘要: Selenium (Se) affects the development of fruit plants as a necessary element. It is effective in the prevention and treatment of some diseases in a health protection element. There are many of areas with low selenium, which could be called Selenium-poor zones in China, except for individual zones. Therefore, plenty of researches have been carried out to find the effect of Se on the growth of fruit plants by artificial cultural methods. The main objectives include: the ability to Se-enrich fruits and the physiological effects on growth and development of Se-enriched fruit trees. The fertilizers containing Se have been widely used to produce Se-enriched fruits. The main fruit species were as follow: apple, pear, jujube, kiwifruits, grape, oranges and watermelon.
