摘要: The flowering pattern and fruit set of 'Feizixiao' litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) were observed and it was found that the time of the first wave of female flowers occurred 15 to 25 days earlier than the second and third waves of female flowers, respectively, but fruit maturity differed by 7 to 10 days among them. Fruit set was quite different among times of female bloom. Fruit from the early flowers were bigger and ripened earlier than those from late flowers, and high nutrient levels of fruit and leaf occurred during early flowering. Therefore, the quality of fruit from early flowering was better than fruit from late flowering.
