Identification of products formed in side reactions in ractopamine synthesis with electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry

摘要: Electrospray ionization mass. spectrometry ( ESI-MS) and collisional activation technology were used to determine target compound and compounds that were produced,in side reactions in ractopamine synthesis. Chemical structures of the-four compounds formed in side reactions were identified based on ESI-MS and MS'. It is believed that dehydration, hydrogenation, methyl etherification and ethyl etherification of alcohol ractopamine may result in formation of the four compounds during the process of ractopamine synthesis.
