摘要: Terpenes of pecan leaves, [Carya illinoensis (Wagenh.) K. Koch], were analyzed by gas- chromatography- mass spectrometry (GC-MS). We examined the foliage volatiles of four commercial varieties of pecan, 'Western', 'Shoshoni', 'Tejas' and 'Maoshan 1', a total of 38 terpenes were identified. Major volatiles identified included limonene (2.04 %-5.08 %), (E)-beta-bergamotene (0.95 %-5.11 %), beta-cubebene (2.42 %-3.67 %), beta-caryophyllene (1.33 %-4.84 %), E-beta-farnesene (2.23 %-3.93 %), alpha-caryophyllene (0.80 %-3.81 %), gamma-curcumene (0.00 %-2.55 %), gamma-muurolene (0.00 %-3.46 %), germacrene D (4.79 %-7.83 %), alpha-zingiberene (0.00 %-10.34 %), alpha-curcumene (0.00 %-16.42 %) and 1H-benzocycloheptene,2,4a, (0.00 %-9.00 %). Some of which can be used as natural preservatives in food and pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, the composition and content of the terpenes were studied on different cultivars, and significant differences among varieties had been reported in this article.
