摘要: Dissolved organic carbon (DOC) is an essential component of the carbon cycle from terrestrial to aquatic systems. Despite the large number of studies reporting on DOC losses from forest soils and in surface waters there is little published data on exports from sloping cropland. DOC leaching was studied in a hillslope cropland with slope gradient of 7% in the central Sichuan Basin, southwestern China during 2009-2010. The interflow was the major driving force of DOC leaching losses from the sloping cropland. DOC concentrations changed slightly during rainfall process and showed a positive correlation with interflow discharge velocity. Soil DOC content increased distinctly from sowing to stamen stage, and then decreased to the minimum at harvest in the maize grown season. This result responded with seasonal change of DOC concentrations of the interflow water. Annual loss flux of DOC through interflow ranged from 5.62 to 8.53, with an average of 7.08 kg ha(-1) yr(-1). DOC leaching flux through the interflow showed clear seasonal patterns with a flux of 4.11-7.81 kg ha(-1), about 73-91% of the annual total loss occurred in the stages from stamen to maturity of maize. This study clarifies the key mechanism and flux of DOC loss in hillslope cropland, and provides basic data for scientific evaluation of soil organic carbon cycle.
