摘要： Some pests and diseases affecting purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea L.) in China are reported in this study. The cases were observed in Xiaogan city of Hubei province and Guangzhou city of Guangdong province from September 2009 to June 2015. The effects of whitefly (Bemisia tabaci), Lepidoptera larvae, red spider (mite), snail, and other pollinating pests are described. Diseases such as root rot and leaf spot were also detected.
