摘要： Gold-thread tung oil is a product of gold-thread tung tree, a local species in Hubei, China. This research used ethanol-NaOH as catalyst and gold-thread tung oil as raw material to produce biodiesel, and explored the impacts of molar ratio of ethanol to oil, catalyst amount, reaction temperature and reaction time on transesterification reaction through orthogonal test. As revealed in the results, the best production condition of biodiesel using gold-thread tung oil was achieved when molar ratio was 6: 1, the catalyst amount 1%, reaction temperature 45. and reaction time 60min. In this optimal process, the yield of biodiesel was 93.76%. This process had very low cost of production. If water and alcohol which needed to be separated in reaction were catalyzed into ethers and esters, the yield could be improved considerably.
