摘要: To observe the varieties of reproductive endocritic hormone when female SD rats' ovaries removed, and the effect of catgut embedding in points on them. Methods: The female SD rats with ovaries removed, were adopted as the animal model of menopausal pathology, and were divided randomly into ovariectomized model (OVX model) group (A), catgut embedding in points group (B), medicine group (C).At the same time, built sham model group (D). After being treated 4 times in succession, all of the experimental animals were put to death on the 5th day after the last treatment, and collected serums and plasma, measured and observed the following indexes: the content of estradiol (E_2), testosterone (T), gonadotropin releasing hormone (Gn-RH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH). Results: The levels of plasma Gn-RH, serum FSH and LH of group A were higher than those of group D (P < 0.05), while serum E_2, T were lower than those of group D (P < 0.05), the change range of E_2 was more significant than that of T. After treatment, the levels of E_2 and T of group B were improved and the levels of serum FSH, LH and plasma Gn-RH of groups B were reduced, the change of the content FSH between group B and group A were significant (P < 0.05), but E_2, T, LH and Gn-RH were no significant (P > 0.05); There was no significant difference between group D and group B in the level of serum E_2, FSH, LH (P > 0.05), while significant difference between them the level of T and Gn-RH (P < 0.05); There was not significant difference between group B and group C in the change of E_2, T, FSH, LH and Gn-RH (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Catgut embedding in points could regulate the hypothalamic-pituitary- gonad axis, and increase serum E_2 and T, and reduce plasma Gn-RH, serum FSH and LH of the ovariectomized rats.
