摘要: In this study, preparation methodology of the yield map explained. The yield data collected by Agro Technology Department of Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University were used in the study. Four farms were included in the study and each farm had 10 fields. The data were collected for different growing crops for the years of 1998, 1999 and 2000.The yield mapping system located in a combine includes global positioning system (GPS) and yield measuring system. Accuracy of the GPS was 1-2 m. The GPS and yield measurement system send data to the computer for each second for determined position of the combine. The raw data were transferred from data card, which was located in the combine, to the computer to be evaluated in the Fieldstar Yield Mapping Software. Then the data also exported from the Fieldstar Yield Mapping Software to another file to evaluate in Excel. The file, which included raw data, was opened and saved in the Excel as a comma separated file (CSF). Columns in the CSF include longitude; latitude and yield values for a field. Only coordinate values were saved in a new file to convert from longitude/latitude projection to Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) projection datum of which was World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS 1984). These new coordinates were put in the CSF file used to get yield map in the Surfer 7.0.This mapping software (Surfer) was used to get field boundary because there were no measurement to determine field boundary. Required field boundaries were determined from the yield data. Another software which was created by Simon Blackmore and called Yied Map was used to create yield map and standard deviation map for each field. The software was named Yield Map 3.0.The Yield Map software uses Surfer 7.0 to create yield map and standard deviation map. Created maps can be used to evaluate yield situation of the field.
