摘要: The MIDCAS project aims at designing solutions for the UAS capability to avoid collisions with other aircraft, which indeed is a key to allow UAS flights in non segregated airspace. The project was defined in accordance with the European stepwise vision of UAS integration and addresses the first step dealing with UAS cruise flight under IFR flight rules. This paper reminds the content of the European UAS integration perspective and how the MIDCAS project supports it and specifically the relevant standardization activities within the EUROCAE Working Group 73. A focus is made on the methodology developed for the project in order to define a consistent set of requirements and solutions together with the incremental provision of evidence for the demons- -tration of safety, performance and interoperability. The outputs of first concept and preliminary design increments are presented.
