摘要: Using a Whole Angle mode of control, HRG reaches a high grade of precision which makes possible fast north finding and high precision pure inertial navigation in aeronautic or land conditions [1]. HRG has also demonstrated a high immunity to mechanical and thermal stress. HRG is therefore well suited to the harsh environment of land applications. The next step then consisted in the development of a full navigation solution based on HRG and odometer (and GPS when available) for autonomous land applications. The paper shows: 1. The architecture of a HRG land navigator with autonomous north finding and hybrid land navigation, 2. The models and the specific algorithms used to implement the navigation filter, 3. Presentation of land navigator developed by SAGEM Defence Security, 4. Test results carried out with a prototype: (1) Vehicle navigations on road, (2) Fast north finding on harsh environment in environmental laboratory. The conclusion shows that land navigation based on HRG and odometer leads to a very efficient package, accurate, robust, highly reliable and maintenance free. This design has reached the industrial and commercial state since SIGMA 20 was presented by Sagem in February 2013.
